Winner of last spring’s world ugliest dog competition, Frodo has undergone an amazing transformation. The dog emerged the ugliest in the competition due to his fur which was eaten by fleas, ticks and mange. An infection also caused Frodo’s eyes to bulge from their sockets.

The dog was given a second chance at life by animal rescuer Klaudija Sigunjak. This led to the treatment that brought him back to normal health, though one of his eyes was badly damaged that it could not be fixed.
Eight months after his title, he now looks extremely transformed, thanks to his new owner, Marko Dusparo who adopted him.

AGF Malami Dares Senate, Asks Ojukwu To Resume As NHRC Boss Without Confirmation

The Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN), has asked Tony Ojukwu to assume office as the acting Executive Secretary of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) in contravention of the civil service rules and the Act that established the commission. Some staff of the commission who felt the action of the AGF contravened the civil service rules and the NHRC (Amendment) Act alerted THISDAY to the illegality being perpetuated by the minister who ought to be championing rule of law. On February 13, 2016, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Justice and Solicitor General of the Federation caused a letter to be delivered to Mrs. Otti Ovravah who was until then, the acting Executive Secretary of the commission, to hand over to Ojukwu.
