Motorcycle Thief Caught By Anti-Cult Volunteer Corps In Delta (Photos)

A suspected motorcycle thief who gave his name as,Chinonso Azubuike,24,a native of Onitsha,in Anambra State,was today,nabbed by members of Anti-Cult Volunteer Corps, Ika Unit after a his attempt to steal a brand new motorcycle at the popular Musa Slaughter in Agbor was foiled.During interrogation,Chinonso confessed that he has stolen many motorcycles in Agbor,disclosing that he has a customer in Onitsha who is always available to buy the stolen motorcycles from him.

The Secretary of the group,Mr Nathaniel Nwa -Jesus in an interview said that Chinonso was caught after he tried to steal one of the motorcycles parked at the slaughter.He further stated that from reports his group has gathered thus far,most of the criminal activities in Ika Land are usually carried out by young men from the east,warning that there will be no sacred cow if anyone is caught.He noted that his group is well prepared to fight crime to a stand still in Ika land even as he calls on Ika indigenes as well as residents to support by revealing to them about the activities of criminals in the area.
Chinonso was later handed over to men of the Agbor Police for further investigation.
